Three Themes Focus CGS Programming Initiatives

The Center for Global Studies' programming focuses around three themes: Global Health, Global Human Security and Global Religions.

  • Global Human Security integrates traditional security studies with humanitarian, human rights and environmental concerns.
  • Global Religions  focuses on the dynamism of religions as they interact with contemporary culture, politics, and everyday life.
  • Global Health extends the study of global health across the disciplines and connects it to issues in international studies.

CGS Partnerships

The Center for Global Studies partners with other centers and organizations both on and off campus which are essential to the center's success.  For K-20 resources visit either our Resource page or our K-20 Professional Development for Educators page.
